Craig Fitzgerald Stephenson, 56, of Charles Town, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Craig was born on October 23, 1965 in Winchester, Virginia. He was the son of Anna Stanton Stephenson and Dabney H. Stephenson, Sr.

He was of Christian faith and was employed by the Berkeley Medical Center in West Virginia (WVU). Prior to his illness, he was unit secretary in the emergency department for more than eight years.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Stanton Stephenson of Charles Town, WV, and his father, Dabney H. Stephenson, Sr. of Winchester VA, six sisters, Mikell “Renee” Weatherton (Michael), Anita M. Walker (Herb ), Jenelle L. Ferguson (Henry), Amanda Forte, Joi Stephenson, Toi Stephenson and four brothers, Dabney H. Stephenson, Jr. (Kathy), Troy C. Stephenson, David Stephenson, Chato Stephenson, Aunt, Sylvia Stanton Gregory and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister Jeri L. Stephenson, his nephew Blake P. Stephenson, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Craig was an avid gardener, a “chef” and loved music especially soft jazz. One of her greatest joys was creating new recipes from her personal garden and sharing them with family and friends. He was known to have the best “Coors Light” Christmas tree.

Services will be held at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday, December 10, 2021. The tour begins at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m., with Reverend Karin Regusters officiating. Burial site services will be at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens 2938 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, WV.

For precautionary reasons related to COVID, there will be no public meal.
