Cash bingo for Camp Frame scheduled for Saturday

SHEPHERDSTOWN – Cash Bingo will be held Saturday February 5 at the Shepherdstown Fire Department for Camp Frame. Doors open at noon and bingo starts at 2 p.m. $20 to play. For more information, call 304-876-6686.

Super Bowl Sunday Buffet Dinner on February 13

SHEPHERDSTOWN – The Shepherdstown Fire Department will host a “Super Bowl Sunday Buffet Dinner” from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 13 at Shepherdstown Fire Department’s Barron Hall, 8052 Martinsburg Pike, Shepherdstown. The menu will include fried chicken and ham with all the trimmings, homemade rolls and desserts, iced tea and coffee. The cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for children (ages 6-15), and children under 6 eat free.

AWS Valentine Online Auction February 12-19

RANSON — The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County is hosting a virtual online Valentine’s Day auction Feb. 12-19.

This new event replaces the “Purr”fect Valentine Dinner and Auction held each year at Hollywood Casino. View the items online at – Jefferson County Animal Welfare Society Auction and start your bidding.

AWS is also seeking event sponsorships, auction item donations, or ticket donations ($60 per person) in lieu of attending the annual event.

Singers wanted for fundraising choir

CHARLES TOWN — The Jefferson County Community Chorus is currently looking for new singers. No audition is necessary and the membership fee is $20.

It is a fundraising choir for schools and nonprofit organizations in Jefferson County. The JCCChorus will begin rehearsals at 7 p.m. on March 8 in the Social Hall of St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town. No spring concert date has yet been set.
