OKLAHOMA CITY – Log records The list of 50 Making a Difference winners for 2022 has been announced and one woman will be selected as the 2022 Woman of the Year at a gala on Thursday, October 20 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
The Woman of the Year program, now in its 42nd year, recognizes prominent Oklahoma women who exemplify leadership in their professional endeavors and in the communities where they live.
“Now, more than ever, it is vital that we recognize the invaluable contributions of women in our community,” said Log record Editor Joe Dowd. “They are leaders, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, mentors and forces of change in Oklahoma, the nation and the world.”
Susan Agel, formerly of Positive Tomorrows, will be this year’s gala keynote speaker.
Four of the 2022 winners will be inducted into the Circle of Excellence – an honor reserved for those selected for the third time.
The program also includes the 24th annual Woman of the Year Forum, an opportunity to exchange ideas and network for the winners and those they mentor, to be held at 9 a.m. on October 20 in Oklahoma. City Community College.

A commemorative magazine of the Woman of the Year program recognizing the 50 Making a Difference winners will be inserted in Log records October 21 edition.
