Nancy Lou (Moler) Morgan, 92, of Charles Town died on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia.
Nancy was born on June 15, 1929 in Bakerton. Daughter of the late Hugh S. Moler and Cora Lucretia Moler.
Nancy graduated from Harpers Ferry High School in 1947.
Nancy was a loving stay-at-home mom and volunteered at Jefferson
Medical center since 1973, including serving as director of volunteers and president of the hospital’s volunteer assistant for several years.
She was also a dedicated volunteer with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.
She was a faithful member of the Asbury United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Susana Wesley class and the Secret Sisters.
She is survived by daughter Heather Morgan McIntyre (and husband Bill) of Charles Town, grandchildren Christopher Morgan (and wife Juliana) of Frederick, Md, and Brad Walters (and wife Melissa) of Elkins, WV, and her great-grandchildren Valentina Morgan, Lucca Morgan, Gwynneth Walters and Darrah Walters.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her 53-year-old husband, W. Edward “Ed” Morgan, who died on July 14, 2003.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 110 West North St., Charles Town with Rev. Duane Jensen officiating.
Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
