Stella G. Lemieux

AUBURN – Stella G. Lemieux, 64, of Auburn, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Feb. 12, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lewiston on May 7, 1957, the daughter of Conrad and Lorraine (Blais) Gervais. Stella was educated at local schools, graduating from St. Dominic Regional High School in 1975 and attending Mt. Ida Junior College for two years.

On October 1, 1977, she married Daniel Lemieux at Holy Family Church in Lewiston and together they moved to Auburn to raise their family. Stella worked for over 20 years at Penmor Lithographers until her retirement as Bookbinding Supervisor. She was currently working as a supervisor in the family business Green Thumb Pharms at the time of her death.

Stella attended Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed doing crafts, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, spending time with her family at their home in Taylor Pond, and the company of her three little ones. -dogs Zuul, Bosco and Beau. She was a bear mother to her chosen tribe and her children Stephanie and Christopher were her absolute pride and joy. For the past 10 months, she adored her only grandchild, Odin Theriault, who was absolutely the “apple of her eye.”

She was a loving, dedicated and hardworking wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Stella is survived by her husband of 44 years, Daniel Lemieux of Auburn; his daughter, Stephanie Lemieux and her fiancé Glenn Theriault of Turner, his son, Christopher Lemieux of Auburn;

his stepmother, Connie Lemieux; brother-in-law, Michael Lemieux and wife Rita, sister-in-law, JoAnn Lalemand and husband Karl, sister-in-law, Michelle Kyllonen and husband Dave and their families; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; lifelong friends Tom and Rhonda; and her big cat Banchee. She was predeceased by her parents, her stepfather, Normand Lemieux; and brother-in-law, David Lemieux.
