OKC Company Wins Lockheed Elite Supplier Award

Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma recently received one of 22 Elite Supplier Awards from Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems for excellence in quality, performance and delivery times.

Winners were selected from more than 13,700 vendors.

Founded in 2002 in Oklahoma City, DRG is a specialized training services provider to the aerospace defense industry. It has grown to employ 890 people at more than 120 locations in 41 states and 13 nations.

According to a statement, the company has been a supplier to Lockheed Martin since 2010. It has supported the C-130H aircrew training system and supported C-130J training in India. It is a primary Lockheed contractor providing F-35A/B/C aircrew training and logistics support at 10 F-35 bases.

Additionally, DRG serves as Lockheed’s contractor for simulator maintenance and supply support for the AC-130, CV-22, MC-12 and MC-130 platforms at five training support sites. air commandos from the Air Force Special Operations Command.

The company was honored at a ceremony held at the PGA National Resort in West Palm Beach, Florida.

DRG delivers more than 2.3 million hours of simulator training per year. Its staff includes more than 250 simulator/logistics technicians and more than 400 crew instructors, with more than 200 fourth and fifth generation fighter instructors.

In June, DRG received special recognition from Boeing as Supplier of the Year 2022 in the Supplier Diversity category.
