The University of Piedmont Communication Sciences and Disorders program has been published in The Cleft-Palate Craniofacial Journal, an international peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal.

The article, titled “A Cross-sectional Descriptive Analysis of Speech, Hearing, and Eating in YouTube Videos: A Brief Communication” was co-authored by the Program Director of Communication Sciences and Disorders , Monica Bellon Harn, Hoschton student Jaycie Ponce and Rebecca Hancock. , a speech therapist who works for Union County Schools.
